The group has distribution centers in 9 states and employs approximately 400 people. For efficiency and safety, warehouses are highly automated where sensors, guards and light curtains are in place to lower the risk of injuries.
The group has a safety committee that involves the VP of Operations, Human Resources, and representatives of each work area (line employees). These employees are rotated to ensure participation of employees. Depending on the locations, safety-specific meetings are held quarterly or twice a year.
“We have been impressed by their dedication in this complex manufacturing environment,” said Karl Siegfried, Senior Vice President of Loss Control Services at The MEMIC Group. “That kind of safety record is not a matter of luck. The team at HFPG constantly inspects and trains for safety which has made them far better than most of their counterparts in this class of manufacturing and distribution.”
“At HFPG, the health and well-being of our employees is our top priority” said Russ Brown, Chief Executive Officer at Hercules Fluid Power Group. “We adhere to rigid standards and continually review our safety protocols to ensure each and every employee feels comfortable within our organization.”
